Haystack News creates a personalized newscast with all the topics that matter to you and without the ones that don't.

If you don't want to see videos on a certain topic or from a certain news organization, you can do it right in the Haystack News app.

To find out how, first tell us where you're watching:

Step 1: In the Haystack News app, find a video with the topic or news outlet that you want to mute and wait until it's in full screen.

Step 2: Hover over the "dislike" button at the bottom of the video player

Step 3: Tap the topics or news outlet you want to block

Step 4: Close the Haystack News app, then restart it to watch the news your way.

Step 1: In the Haystack News app, find a video with the topic or news outlet that you want to mute and wait until it's in full screen.

Step 2: Select the "Mute sources and topics" button in the bottom left corner of your screen.

Step 3: Tell us which topics and/or news outlets you want to block, then press done

Step 4: Exit the Haystack News app, then jump back in to watch the news your way.

Step 1:In the Haystack News app, find a video with the topic or news outlet that you want to mute and wait until it's in full screen.

Step 2: Select the "Mute sources and topics" button in the bottom left corner of the screen.

Step 3: Tell us which topics and/or news outlets you want to block on the side menu

Step 4: When you're done, press the "back" button on your remote​

Step 5: Exit the Haystack News app, then jump back in to watch the news your way.

Step 1: On the Haystack News app, find a video with the topic or news outlet you want to block in mini-mode

Step 2: Tap the "dislike" button at the bottom of the video player

Step 3: Tap the topics or news outlet you want to block
​

Step 4: Close the Haystack News app, then restart it to watch the news your way.

Step 1: On the app, find the video from the news organization or topic you want to block

Step 2: Tap the thumbs-down icon on the bottom right corner of the video

Step 3: Tap the topics or news outlet you want to block

Step 4: Close the Haystack News app, then restart it to watch the news your way.
