How to favorite a source?

Thanks for using Haystack News! Favoriting sources is a great way to customize your news feed to better match your interests. Here’s how you can favorite a source across different devices:

From a Video:

On iPhone and iPad:

- While watching a video, tap on the source logo's button below the video to favorite that source.

On Android Mobile:

- While watching a video, click on the like button.

- Below the Like and Dislike buttons, you’ll see the source and topics. Click on these to favorite them.

On AndroidTV, FireTV, Vizio, Samsung, Hisense, LG, and AppleTV:

- While watching a video, focus on the like button and then click on the source to favorite it.

From Search:

On iPhone and iPad:

- Click on the Search button. You can click on the star above the suggested sources' logos.

- Or type the name of a specific source, click on the source, and then click on "Follow."

On AndroidTV, FireTV, Vizio, Samsung, Hisense, LG, and AppleTV:

- Scroll up on the side menu, and click on "Search."

- You can click on any suggested source or click on "Follow."

- Or type the name of a specific source, then click on the source, and finally click on "Follow."

From Settings:

On iPhone and iPad:

- Click the account button, scroll down to the "Favorite Channels" section.

- Click on "Find & Add More Channels" to favorite suggested sources or search for a specific one.

On Android Mobile:

- Click on the Favorites tab, then click on the button "Add people, sources, and topics."

- Click on the sources you want or type the name of a specific source.

On AndroidTV, FireTV, Vizio, Samsung, Hisense, LG, and AppleTV:

- Scroll down on the side menu and click on "Settings."

- Click on "Configure my headlines," here you can favorite other categories and then click on "Next" to favorite other sources.

After refreshing your playlist, you should see more videos from your favorited sources. Please note, the availability of news from a specific source can vary day-to-day depending on their video publication schedule.
