If the Haystack News app is crashing, freezing, or not opening, follow these steps.
Step 1: Basic fixes
Force close the app and reopen it.
Restart your device β turn it off completely, wait 30 seconds, and turn it back on.
Check for updates β make sure you have the latest version of the app installed.
Uninstall and reinstall the app β this resolves most crash issues.
Step 2: Platform-specific steps
iPhone / iPad: Go to Settings > General > iPhone Storage > Haystack News > Offload App, then reinstall from the App Store.
Android: Go to Settings > Apps > Haystack News > Storage > Clear Cache, then restart the app.
Smart TV: Check for app updates in your TV app store. If unavailable, uninstall and reinstall the app.
Roku / Fire TV: Remove the channel and re-add it from the channel store.
If the app still crashes

What you were doing when the crash happened
Steps to reproduce the issue
Any error message displayed on screen
