I was charged after cancelling my subscription

If you were charged after cancelling your Haystack News subscription, here is what to check and how to get help.

Why this can happen

  • Your cancellation was processed after the billing date β€” charges apply at the start of each billing cycle.

  • The cancellation may not have completed successfully (the subscription was paused, not fully cancelled).

  • The charge came from a different platform than expected β€” for example, you subscribed on Apple but tried to cancel on the Haystack website.

Step 1: Verify your cancellation status

If you confirmed the cancellation was completed but were still charged, start a chat with our support team from this Help Center and include:

  • The email address linked to your Haystack account

  • The date of the unexpected charge

  • The platform where you subscribed (haystack.tv, Apple, Google, Roku, Amazon)

  • A screenshot or confirmation of your cancellation, if available
