If you were charged after cancelling your Haystack News subscription, here is what to check and how to get help.
Why this can happen
Your cancellation was processed after the billing date β charges apply at the start of each billing cycle.
The cancellation may not have completed successfully (the subscription was paused, not fully cancelled).
The charge came from a different platform than expected β for example, you subscribed on Apple but tried to cancel on the Haystack website.
Step 1: Verify your cancellation status
Check the platform where you originally subscribed:
haystack.tv: Sign in > profile icon > My Account > check subscription status
Apple: Settings > [Your Name] > Subscriptions
Google Play: play.google.com/store/account/subscriptions
Roku: Home > hover over the Haystack app > Star button > Manage subscription
Step 2: Contact our support team
If you confirmed the cancellation was completed but were still charged, start a chat with our support team from this Help Center and include:
The email address linked to your Haystack account
The date of the unexpected charge
The platform where you subscribed (haystack.tv, Apple, Google, Roku, Amazon)
A screenshot or confirmation of your cancellation, if available
Our team will review your case and follow up as soon as possible.
