We can normally find your account using your email address, but if we can't then we'll ask for your UserID.

What is the user ID and what is it used for?

The user ID is a handy feature that allows Haystack to identify a user, even if the user doesn't have an email associated with our platform. The user ID helps us save your preferences and support you with any issues you may have with the platform. We want to make sure all users have the best experience possible!

How to obtain the user ID?

  • Mobile:

    • iPhone and iPad:

      • Open the app

      • Click on the gear icon

      • Then click on the nut icon

      • The user ID will be displayed there. To copy it to the clipboard, just click on it twice

    • Android:

      • Open the app

      • Click on the "Account" button

      • Then click on the "Settings" button

      • The user ID will be displayed there. To copy it to the clipboard, just click on it twice

  • TVs:

    • LG, Samsung, Hisense, Vestel:

      • Open the app

      • Scroll down on the left menu and click on the "Settings" button

      • Scroll right on the settings menu and click on the "Send Feedback" button

      • Scan the QR code to send us an email with your user ID and feedback

    • Roku:

      • Open the app

      • Scroll down on the left menu and click on the "Settings" button

      • Scroll right on the settings menu and click on the "Send Feedback" button

      • Scan the QR code to send us an email with your user ID and your feedback

    • AndroidTV and FireTV:

      • Open the app

      • Scroll down on the left menu and click on the "Settings" button

      • Scroll right on the settings menu and click on the "Send Feedback" button

      • Then click on the "Send Feedback" button

      • Scan the QR code to send us an email with your user ID and your feedback
